Dear Comrades,

The UFBU call for the All-India Bank Strike on 11 September 2026 stands, and the requisite strike notice has already been served on the Indian Banks' Association.

👉🏻 All our members, officers in regular service, Probationary Officers, Local Bank Officers (including those presently on probation), and officers nearing retirement, are expected to participate in the strike in accordance with the UFBU call and this Association's organisational instructions.

👉🏻 Every participating member shall clearly confirm their participation in the strike report. This is an important organisational requirement and shall be complied with by every member without exception.

👉🏻 No officer observing the strike shall recklessly or casually hand over branch keys, custody or charge to anybody. Where a competent authority directs handover of keys/charge prior to the strike, the officer shall ensure that proper handover/takeover procedure is completed and documented - including verification of cash, ATM cash, gold packets/pledged gold and reconciliation thereof, and other material assets/documents under custody, with appropriate acknowledgement obtained.

👉🏻 Any officer deputed or nominated for physical or online training on 11 September 2026 shall not attend such training. Training assigned by the Bank is an official duty, and an officer observing the strike shall not discharge official duties on strike day.

Every member is expected to maintain the highest level of organisational discipline, unity and restraint. Any deliberate attempt to undermine the strike, bypass the organisational call, compel members to perform duties contrary to the strike position, or any apparent unfair labour practice or other coercive or improper action, shall be reported promptly to the concerned Regional Faction /Association leadership.

നമ്മുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങളും പ്രക്ഷോഭത്തിന്റെ വിഷയങ്ങളും പരമാവധി അംഗങ്ങളിലേക്കും പൊതുസമൂഹത്തിലേക്കും എത്തിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് ഈ ഡിജിറ്റൽ പ്രചാരണത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യം.

അതിനാൽ, ഓരോ സഖാവും തങ്ങളുടെ എല്ലാ സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയ ഹാൻഡിലുകളിലും പോസ്റ്റർ അപ്‌ഡേറ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയും, പരമാവധി ആളുകളിലേക്ക് അത് എത്തുന്നുവെന്ന് ഉറപ്പാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക.

Dear Members of UBOAKS (AIBOC),

As you all know, we are on the path of agitation for the long-pending demand for 5-Day Banking and against the discriminatory and divisive PLI scheme introduced by DFS.

It is our bounden duty to oppose this unjust treatment, stand united, and demonstrate our protest.

Tomorrow, 1 September, all members shall wear black badges while on duty and, wherever possible, communicate with customers and explain the reasons behind our strike and protest. _(Badge PDF is enclosed herewith)_

All affiliates/units are requested to immediately appraise the rank and file and ensure strict implementation of the following directives without exception.

Standing Directives to All Members

Effective from 24 August 2026 and to continue on every working day until further advice:

•Work strictly as per prescribed rules, procedures and norms. All forms of extra cooperation shall stand withdrawn.
•Strictly adhere to normal working hours. No work shall be undertaken before or beyond scheduled working hours. All members must leave the Branch/Office by 5:30 PM.
•Exit from all official WhatsApp groups and refrain from participating in official work-related communication through WhatsApp.

These directives shall be implemented uniformly and without fail.
